Solar Panel Grounds Preparations and Maintenance

Fields containing solar farms must be prepped and maintained using a well-planned solar panel vegetation management and ground maintenance strategy. If not, weeds and grass can grow high to overlook the panels and blow debris onto them thus reducing electrical output. Along with establishing the ground with the right seed and weed control, regular grass cutting is an essential part of operations and maintenance on solar farms. This prevents shading along the bottom edges of solar panels which results in a drop in output.

We offer a full solar panel vegetation management and maintenance service for medium to large scale solar farm projects. This includes the initial site ground establishment and enhancement through to final landscaping and ongoing grounds maintenance. We can easily synchronize our teams so that we can safely seed, spray, cut the grass, and trim the hedges to maintain an efficient and energy producing solar panel system.

Safety.

Mowing in and around the solar panel arrays using our specialized machinery in order to maintain the acceptable vegetive height.

Hedge Cutting.

Hedge/fence cutting and surrounding tree works/surveys. This enables site security to be maintained and will stop solar panel shading.
